JBC at Phoenix Life Saving Award Event

Jim Black Construction was a proud Silver Sponsor of the “Phoenix Life Saving Award Ceremony” put on by the Aurora Fire Department on Wednesday, November 19th, 2014. The event, taking place at the Summit Event Center in Aurora, was to honor fire crews who have saved community members lives in 2013 through September of 2014. Stacey Barton Memorial Fundraiser

The Jim Black Construction family recently suffered a terrible loss. Our longtime supervisor and friend, Tony Barton, lost his wife to cancer in late September. We consider this company a family, and we were all strongly affected by the loss of this remarkable woman. Most of the company was at Stacey’s Memorial to reminisce and provide support for Tony and each other. Stacey was a teacher at E. C. Molholm Elementary School in Lakewood.
